Conceptual drawings Part II
Did some real quick drawings laying out the main line, helix and both terminating points of my layout and have included them here.Again this is just get me going in the right direction.
My goal is to have a double deck connected via a helix in the middle peninsula, possibly herniated helix to allow for a view of the train. Around the room and then back down the helix and terminating in its destination, either Hagerstown or Baltimore.
Progress on the Eerie/Lackamoney RR, part 2
From the photos above and the few contained here, you can see I've made some progress on the Eerie/Lackamoney RR over the past year. Nearly all the benchwork was completed (save for one more peninsula to be added later), and about 90% of the track has been laid. My focus was to finish wiring for the Lenz DCC system I'm using to control the layout, and to finish doing the scenery and ballast in the yard area and the refinery. The Georgetown and Allen Mountain Railroad has a new home
I have been too busy for the last few weeks but today is the day: I'm finally announcing that we have moved from Colorado to Florida in June and that I have put up a new dedicated building for the railroad!
The building contains a layout room of 50 x 28 feet, an office, a workshop, and a bathroom.
Norfolk Southern HO Passenger Cars The Business Train
The Norfolk Southern railroad issued a HO Bachmann Silver Series passenger car for their employees, I believe the year was 2007. These NS passenger cars are hard to find. Has any other manufacture produced a HO NS passenger car for the public?
Waynesborough Model RRC City
Hello & Welcome to my blog on the city we are currently constructing at Waynesborough Model Railroad Club. (This is my first blog so plese bare with me.) Our club has about 15 members at this time. We moved to a new location about two years ago, and are currently enlarging our layout. We have several on going projects, and I thought it would be fun to let you watch it grow with us. Texas and New Orleans Eastern Division...is now online....
Well this is the first of, hopefully, many more posts. The Texas and New Orleans Eastern Division is in its infancy stage. i.e. I now have a basement, and the ideas on how to put a layout in the basement is flowing. Once I get back home from Christmas Vacation...(visiting family and friends) I'll post more on the Texas and New Orleans layout and the ideas that I have....
