Freight Car Weathering projects
This is my first post here on MRH though I've been following many of the blogs on here for over a year. I thought I'd start off by sharing some of my recent weathering projects. First up are a couple covered hoppers. These are Kato and Atlas 2 bay cars.

New H.O. clubs forming
Two new H.O. clubs forming in the Richmond, VA area.
1st one is a modular layout at McGuire Veterans Hospital. This is limited to veterans only.
2ns will be a new club/layout in the Glen Allen area (as soon as I clear out the garage) and will be approx. 14'x29' and possibly tri-level. The garage has heat and A/C.

problems progamming locos
this past week i have purchased a digitrax DCS100 with a DT400 throttle. but i seem to be having a problem programming locos. i have followed the instruction as written in the owner manual but still having problems. it won't let me input the CV# i have tried several times & it is frustrating me. my previous DCC system was a MRC prodigy advanced squared system that i have had no problems when programming locos. i don't know if i am doing something wrong or if there is a step missing from the instructions.
Why you should Subscribe to MRH
At least twice a month as a subscriber you receive an update e mail. Today's update contained a link to a playlist on You Tube for model railroad operations. This is a great site. It has videos of operations from at least 10 different providers and I did not try an figure out how many layouts. Open post to see links.
