Richlawn RR V2 - Track laying - Buck ain't happy!
The track team is rounding the curve by Buck & Loretta's place and it's going well......except for the local interference. The foreman was stopped in his tracks by the sudden appearance of a local resident, Buck who gave him an earful! It seems that Buck is none too happy about the railroad and construction near his "lovely" home.

Animations - on-board and layout
I've joined my 2 O scale (narrow gauge) modules together for the first time and got the locos moving along with the town animations.
I uploaded a new YT video showing the modules working on my channel - search "scoopmmr"

I've also added a TCS WOW Sound decoder into my PSC brass K-27 pulling a freight - check the video.
Also there are many more short videos of recent modeling.

Point Guard
Nope,, not Basketball.
I am in need of a switch point guard for at least one turnout that I am having a little trouble with derailments on. Primarily Budd Passenger cars are the issue, but is has also happened on some regular boxes and flats. I have checked the turnouts, Hand laid and everything is within guage.
Does anyone know if there is a manufacturer out there for these as a casting or is this something i will need to fabricate?
Richlawn RR V2 - Track laying started on the layout!
It's been a banner weekend for my layout and that I FINALLY started to lay some track - well actually the cork. I installed the three Tam Valley "Singled" turnout servos and starting installing the three turnouts. I had to be accurate in mounting everything as the servos and linkage went in first and have to align with the turnouts. It wasn't that difficult but it did take some time. In the picture below I highlighted the area (pay no attention to the mess in the dark area!) You can click on the picture to get a bigger view.

Cornhill & Atherton - "The Blob"
This may look a little odd ..................
The Cornhill & Atherton is a double deck RR in 11' x 9' - so space is tight.
The Helix takes up a lot of room, so to avoid losing valuable real estate, Atherton yard sits on top of the Helix.
Disguising a helix is difficult unless you have a lot of space to mold some kind of mountain around it.
The bit of scenery below (nicknamed "The Blob" for now) is intended to try to convey a sense of a mountain top in a very very small amount of space.

I've added the bands and domes to the boiler, as seen here:
