Splitrock Mining Co. Agate Bay yard/dock operations. Video tour.

After a summer of other projects, I am back into Operations on the Splitrock Mining Company. A great visit from Bill Brillinger and his lovely wife, plus the OpSIG weekend for MinnRail. I am ready to head back into making scenery for the mainline and building structures for the growing town of Agate Bay, on the north shore of Lake Superior.

TT scale Otter Creek Falls Coal & Lumber Rwy.

I’ve been contemplating the building of a TT scale layout for quite some time now. The original plan was to build the first section and see if I could get it published in one of the major railroad publications. I have instead decided to do an SBS (step by step) and post it to two other forums besides Model Railroad Hobbyist, TTnut and Rail Line Forum.
