JMRI and Speed Matching?
I have two locomotives that I need to speedmatch, one is a MTH F-something or other. The Second is a Bachmann GP-7 (or something simillar) What is the best way to do this and how? I want to set up a doubleheader on the club layout and any suggestions are appreciated.
"Skipjack", a TT scale PRR Delmarva layout.
This is about a small TT scale layout in a spare bedroom. The space is my in house work shop as well as hosting O scale and N scale layouts over the years. This is just a continuation of a modeler's wandering thru the hobby's many facets. The recent N layout was fun to operate but I decided a simpler track plan and concept would suit my interests better.

Another Ops Session & Rutherford Yard test...
So Tuesday night was our semi-regular ops session again for the first time in 2016.
Unfortunately as we were busy problem solving and entertaining I didn't get any ops photos or videos. Next ops session there will be both...

Trains Running on the GWMS Model Railroad
I finally got the trains running reliably on the layout. 80% have body mounted couplers and 95% with Kadees, others have either hornhooks or those old magic ones that can connect to both type without problems. The first video was from yesterday the second from today. The trains are as long as we can get them and all look great.

CY&P RR - Under-Table Archeology
I am making progress in my renewing the layout, mentioned in this post:

Who all is entering the module contest?
Not sure if anyone wants to share if they are or not but it would be interesting to see who else is going to enter the contest? Also maybe if Joe and the entrants don't mind add their track plans here for all to see.

Photo...LOTS of photos
NYC Library just release a LARGE group of photos. There are many different types here, menu's, stereoscopes, music sheets, etc.....but there are also a large selection of maps, railroad posters, railroad buildings, yards...well you get the idea. AND they are not all from New York. After digging around for over an hour, I found a Pioneer Zephyr poster and downloaded it....at full size ! They give you many options for downloading...so please take a look ! However....allow yourself some time.

IAIS's West End - A new "front door" for the layout
For the past several years I've been enjoying the work of Frank Grizel, a very talented eastern Iowa photographer and painter. Last February I contacted Frank about commissioning a painting for the entry into my layout room, and this week he finished it. The painting depicts three of my favorite IAIS locomotives - SD38-2 2809, GP7M 400, and GP38-2 709 - leading a westbound grain extra over the High Bridge on the east edge of Council Bluffs.

Will anyone be at the World's Greatest Hobby Show in Shamburg?
I would love to meet some of my fellow MRH members and put a face with the names. I still am not certain I will be there but am hoping to!
