Many have their own tips and tricks hope you share after video. This video is one method that works. Their are two many on You Tube that do not. Wet water is to break surface tension on ballast.

This beautiful layout in the Denver Area was part of Rocky Op North 2013. This Great example of a great running layout that with a very effective operations plan.  Their were 8 operators and owner acting as dispatcher. Great fun had by all.

Road trip to Rocky Ops this past weekend to run trains.  Three videos to follow in coming weeks.  But to end the discussion about sky please note why I say I have a Blue Sky railroad.  This should save you a lot of time painting your Sky. Light at the bottom and dark at the top.  This makes it very Simple.

The GP has changed from car cards to JMRI operations. Additional electronic have been completed to include block detection on the whole main line and sidings. Staging is only place left for detection. I have added a wire less network for remote panel control and engine operations using smart phones and tablets. We have ops session every month.
