I look at the adds in MRH
I look at the adds in MRH from time to time and purchase some of the products advertised in the magazine, the most recent is the throttle from Iowa Scaled Engineering. I like the adds in MRH as I will go back to the pages to see what new items are available from these suppliers. As to other places and their add models I skip them, mute them, what ever. The google adds I bypass, if it is in a popup and I see it enough to remember them I will not buy their product because of their advertising, I will go to a competitor instead!
In many cases I know what products I will buy and what products I will not. For example if you make ready to run models (other than locomotives) you won't sell them to me. If on the other hand you make kits in the scale and time period I model I will buy your product. I tear apart the locomotives and go over them anyway so they are kits I need to take apart before I can build them.
I subscribe to one print magazine and look at the adds in there as well. Like everything spam is just an irritation so I will skip it.
If you wish to you may show this to your advertisers or potential advertisers and let them know there is a primary place they can get my attention. It is right here. To get more than a glance they need to offer something I want, my needs are very specific at this point. The other places they might see me are at train shows but I am typically looking for out of production items when there.

Well, I gotta say this
Well, I gotta say this magazine and forum have guided me through my reentry into the hobby. The e magazine is perfect for me on my tablet or desktop. I always click on the adds to help support the cant beat price of the magazine. I will also purchase a one year subscription to Train masters TV.
Thank you for being the most informative and detailed magazine on the best hobby out there.
June Issue Download
Why did you change the method of getting the embedded issue? When I try to find the current issue link I get taken to the subscribers extras, I find the link there (note says replaced the embedded issue) but when I download it goes to my video viewer and starts to play a video. The link does not allow me save to folder where I want to save the magazine to read later like I have done in the past. I DO NOT like this change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did I miss something somewhere else that would to allow me to download like I have always done since being a subscriber? I use the latest version of Firefox and Windows 7, and have not made any changes.
What's Up?

Embedded media in a PDF is obsolete
Embedded media in a PDF uses Flash technology and that is obsolete. We had no choice but to drop support of the embedded edition before it stops working entirely.
Download the standard edition of your choice and be happy. You will see NO difference unless you’re a computer techie and understand what the first paragraph all means.

Embedded media
Joe;
I've always downloaded the embedded, as my first choice.Though it doesn't effect me, what about the poor fellow whos only choice is dialup by location or economics?
There must be a reasonable alternative.

There is an alternative
There is an alternative -- download the zipped archive in the Bonus Extras section. It's the regular PDF plus the embedded media (non-flash media) all in a single folder. It's essentially the same thing, just not as convenient.
If you're not tech savvy, however, you may find it's just a big hassle -- we've already gotten support emails from folks going "what is THIS?" ... who have downloaded it and then been baffled by what they received.

Congrats on 100 issues
Love the magazine and indeed the forums too.
one little gripe - through lack of fore planning with numbering and failing to use leading zeros the 100 issue doesn’t fall correctly when having a file list sorted by file name.
Though a long way of and one which I hope you achieve the same problem will repeat at issue 200,300 etc the then compound at issue 1000
keep up the fine publication though
