Now for some of my modeling.

I bought this kit a few months after a very close family member passed away. I knew that, someday this event was going to effect me a great deal. For years it sat on a shelf, waiting for its day to be built.

When I purchased this kit, I knew it would be a challenge. The challenge was what I really needed. You see I build kits, all the time. But how does that address the component of modeling, every modeler requires? Inspiration. It doesn't. But what it does consist of that I needed this summer was a challenge, and a kind guide, to walk me through it.

I built that kit this summer. Hot on the heals of a personal and very defeating situation, I looked to the rafters to get out my lil' challenge. What came out was a modeler with his inspiration intact. A model that made me feel like I can do whatever I feel I can. And the admiration of my family, at my accomplishment. So many people forget to use this hobby as an outlet, and as Mr T once said... I pity the foo...

In this web post, is about 19 some odd videos. Well "some" (about 9) that are entertaining for you, nicely produced and planned. The rest are "odd" and part of my modeling, you don't need to like them.
I wonder how many people take the toughest part of their life and record it. I say, I wonder as I don't suggest that it is any fun to try...

Videos follow in the next post.

Videos

This is a playlist of videos. Only the first eight are posted as they are "put together". The rest are for you to finish on your own time. And a quick heads up if you don't have much time in your life. These are not here to binge on, they are here to share some insight into modeling.

Thanks

Got through the 1st 3 videos. I'll look at the rest in the morning. Definitely a lot better then a print article. Some of us just work better with a real demo.

I think I see a LCL dock coming up to try some of this out on.

Thanks Jack, word of warning,

Thanks Jack, word of warning, I stopped making the videos after #8, and just started the recorder instead. I ride it right off the rails, more then once.

And at that time we may see you come back, where we can talk about articles again LMAO
