How do I use the TOC index?

First, select the TOC index from either the dropdown menu or from the Magazine menu page:

Select the TOC index on the Magazine menu ...


 

On the TOC index page, enter your search text, which in this example is Turnouts, then select an article of interest...

Enter search term Turnouts, then select an article of interest ...


 

On the article web page, you can choose to either read the article or scroll down to view reader comments ...

Choose to read the article or scroll down and view reader comments ...


 

If you select read the article, it brings up the article in the online edition:

Read the article in the online edition directly!

Insulated or electrified track switches

I wanted to be certain that some N scale track switches I see on the internet will allow electrical power to run pass the frog.  Is it correct to say insulated switch will not allow power to run pass the frog and electrified switchesq allow power to pass the frog.
