Looks interesting. I may give it a try when it hits the shelves. (Were those BRASS wheels?)

They sure look like it. Though I'm sure you can replace those as well.

One time when we went by the Atlas booth hoping to interview the marketing guy, we were told he was over at the Dapol booth....

They had N-Scale items as well as the cleaning car, but I can certainly hope!

Does anybody else think that the Dapol track cleaner looks a lot like the atlas n scale track cleaner?

You can see the n scale version here: http://www.4nscale.com/details.asp?p=9273

IIUC, you'd have to put in each of those attachments (grinder, vacuum, polisher) individually? So once around the track with the grinder, once with the vacuum, etc...

Or am I missing something?

I like the idea of a vacuum! I wonder how effective that would be in N?

Kind of odd that it puts fluid out before the vacuum, won't that defeat the vacuum? All the dust will end up on that sponge at the front.

The way I would use this car is purely for the vaccuum function; I would leave the rail polishing to the centerline or other railpolishers seein ghow they work perfectly fine as it is.  The one function that is not accomplishe dby them is the removal of dust and magnetic debris.  So this will be nice!!
