New IPad

I just purchased a new Apple IPad and want to read the Magazine and also view TrainMasters TV on it. Right now I have both on my computer, which is in basement layout room. I would like to read and view these in other locations in my house, such as the Living Room. I can't seem to find what I need to load these onto the IPad.

I need VERY simple help as I am not all that techy.

Mix for Craft Paints

Does anybody on this site use off the shelf crafts to paint their structures? I would like to start using them since Poly Scale is no longer made. I don't want to paint a whole structure by hand, so I want to know what would be a good way to reduce them for air brushing. What would be the specific mix formula?

Thanks

Rigging for coaling towers

What type material is anybody out there using for the rigging of Coaling Tower coal chutes? The thread supplied by Walthers for any of their Coaling Towers or any structure that requires simulated cable/chain is way to fuzzy and the holes in the parts are to small for the supplied thread.

Thanks

Richard

Scratch Built HO scale cattle/stock pens

Has anyone out there scratch built a small HO scale rail served stock pen, if so do you have plans you would be willing to share? I have built the Walthers (kit bashed) stock pen kit, but would like to build a small one for a spot on my layout. I looked all over the internet with no luck.

Upgrading East River Coal & Lbr. Co.

I had 4 days off work for the 4th of July. So along with working on up grading my operating paper work (This will be a different post or maybe a article). I did some up up grading on the East River Coal & Lumber Co. in the town of Green Bay, WI. Mostly I added sand and gravel to the parking/loading area and additional weeds/bushes etc. See the before and after pictures below.

This is the before:

The Current Structure Build on CNW

I have started another scratch build project for the CNW Peninsula Div. It is the F.H. Kearney & Co. feed mill located in Ironwood, MI. I found the plans in the August, 2009 issue of Model Railroader mag. The plans were for a N scale structure and since I model in HO they needed to be enlarged so as to get a HO scaled drawing. Office Depot was able to do this for a very reasonable cost. Follow along for the build.
