Switching OP at Cleveland & Eastern

Today I'd like to share a little video I captured some time ago.

Showing a little switching action on my N-Scale layout.

C&E #1260 first moves a tankcar to - yet to be built - Dan's Oil and then swaps some cars at East Grain Mill

Enjoy

Cheers,

Mike

Scenery work on Red-Rock section

While summer takes a -short- break in Germany, I had a little time to spend on my layout. This weekend I managed to finish the grade crossing and some basic ground cover on the Red-Rock section.
I also painted the future track side transfer and depot building using an airbrush and flat gray acrylics.

Progress Update on E-Oaks Branch

Hi Folks,
a short but great update on my Elizabeth Oak Branch Line :
The "Golden Spike" was applied on March 7.  Now I can run trains over the complete layout.

It took me since December 2011 to get to this point, some test attempts to build up the landscape included.

Mainline length roughly calculated is about 56.5 feet long without staging yards

Now I can focus on building up scenery and improve my rolling stock.

Little progress update on the E-Oaks NW Branch

A little progress I achieved this weekend.

I finally fixed the steel-trestle on the plaster abutments with 2k glue and spray-painted the trestle in flat black.

Milestones

Not quiet as aspected but "just in time", I reached my self-defined goal yesterday by completing the steel-girder bridge which I build using ME Girder-Bridge Kits. It rests on plaster abutments for which I scratch built casting molds.
