Hi Folks,
a short but great update on my Elizabeth Oak Branch Line :
The "Golden Spike" was applied on March 7.  Now I can run trains over the complete layout.

It took me since December 2011 to get to this point, some test attempts to build up the landscape included.

Mainline length roughly calculated is about 56.5 feet long without staging yards

Now I can focus on building up scenery and improve my rolling stock.

Oh, What a Feeling

First run is a video I have to watch. Must feel really good to make this milestone. Congratulations. As already mentioned, the flowing curves look great.

Yes, reaching this milestone just feels like dropping of a big load, because it is not one of my favorite work.
