Presentation

 Hi and wellcome!

My name is Carlos Alberto Thompson Lenz, and I have been an active mexican model railroad fan since many years. I have my own site totaly in Spanish (trenecitos.com) and I give free advise and orientation to spanish-spoken modellers by email. I have many friends railfans from Argentina to Mexico and Spain.

I also have made several docens of video clips in spanish and share them in the youtube site.

Trenecitos means little trains in spanish.

Recieve regards from Cancun, Mexico, where I live since 1987.

New year, new trains ...

Happy new year to everybody!

And what am I doing while waiting for the first issue of the new magazine? Yes, I'm railroading. On the floor with the newest German 0-Gauge-Trains made by Lenz:

And what are these two guys talking about? Hm, a new magazine? Made by whom? Interesting ...

Naming my Layout Part III

I have finally come up with a name that works for my layout. It's different yet it is descriptive and it works for me. My layout is now officially the Hudson and Hartford. Now all I need to do is design a logo and create some letterhead and railpasses.

Luckily, I have son who is into graphic art and I will ask him to come up with those for me. I figure he is going to owe me big time since I am paying for his bride's engagement ring.

Smoky Mountain Trains Museum

Located in Bryson City, NC just behind the Smoky Mountain Railroad station and depot this museum houses the largest collection of Lionel trains with over 7,000 pieces of locomotives, rolling stock, trackside details and accessories. Some pieces dating back to 1918 and are displayed in enclosed floor to ceiling wall length cases.

I hope you enjoy the short video tour.
