May 2019 issue feedback
Just took a look at the most recent issue and I gotta say that in my opinion this is the best (by far) issue I have seen in many a moon.
Gil Bennett's layout ........are you kidding me? The most beautiful layout I've ever seen in a publication and the entire article is the gold standard for layout visits. I'm going to be absorbing details from that for hours. Scenery and backdrop........yikes.
Jack Burgess article on the Chopper. Nuts and bolts about a really common tool that I use a lot. Thank you Jack......that's a goldmine of info.
SLIP Plate Seed SLIK Natural Graphite Lubricant, 16 oz.
After seeing the 1 pound powered graphite in Joe's Musings I was doing a search as this is used in fertilizer, grain drills (seed planting machines) in farming and pellet stoves to reduce wear on parts. I found it at NAPA Auto Parts listed as 16 oz for $7.99 each. It can not be ordered online but it states to call or visit your local dealer and to see if it is in stock if not they will order it for you. This is the same name as Amason uses

As the Swayne's operations and those of the Truckee Lumber Co were winding down. Shay #6 came to my railroad and was quickly put to work bringing logs down to the mill.

The lightweight helix topic could really do with a clean out to start with. I don't mind if you remove my posts along with the other "noise".
Stephen Priest leaves ST
Scale Trains announced on FB that Stephen is going back to KC and has left the company. As long as he and family are ok that’s all he needs to worry about.

April Issue of MRH and Running Extra
Is there an update on the April issue? Joe usually posts an update if issue is after the last Friday. Did I miss a post or some information? Hope all is well with Joe and family.
