Do you have winter at your layout?

Show your winter pictures and how you made it.

Here's mine.

I'Ve made it on an unfinished module, H0n3. Next step will be Woodland. And I've used snow from NOCH, that stuff is easy removable!

Trains in the Wilderness. BC Rail's North End Lives on in N Scale

Some steady progress over the last few months has allowed more trains to cross the Peace River on the N Scale Fort St. John Subdivision.   Northern British Columbia, Canada is a remote place and there aren't many trains, but here are a couple I caught crossing the bridge.

First a northbound...

Return to the Basin

It's been a while since we had anything worth saying about the Sudbury Division, but we can report we are still chugging away, though not with steam locos.  You may recall we were having issues with electrical pickup in our last installment (Tales from the Basin Part 2), and we had to work long and hard to get that under control.  Last summer we took every car off the layout and cleaned each of their wheels individually with cotton swabs and alcohol, cleaned all the locomotives and all the track from top to bottom.

Ghost River Update

Well folks, things have been busy around the Ghost River these last few months and I figured it was time for an update. Lighting is much imnproved, but not perfect and scenes are coming together. Lots of rolling stock has been purchased as well as severl engines. No trains are running as it's difficult to manage them and the camera at the same time.

Still tons of work to do and decisions to be made. Hope you enjoy.
