The Farmers & Bluestone Railroad is a fictional On30 railroad, loco's and rolling stock spanning from the early 1900's till after WW2. Just started and a whole lot of work to be done, so you'll be looking mostly at bare xps foam :-)

cheers, Leo.

Having just moved to Northeast Vermont from CNW "Chicago" country I am looking for information on anything MRR related happening within the St. Johnsbury regin.. I was building Craftsman kits IE: FSM, SRMW, Sierra West, and have since moved to  Scratch/Modified structures, Thanks hope to hear from someone Local and maybe exchange or swap for a bunch those kits "mint" that I have left I will never build.

N-scale: Wire Peco turnouts for DCC - necessary?

I'm getting closer to start tracklaying on my freelanced N-scale PRR Catskill division layout in my basement. This is my third layout in N-scale, and I'm using Peco code 55 since the beginning. Afraid of doing anything wrong, I not only post this question, but also have been wiring all my turnouts for DCC from the beginning. Some of them will be reused now, but quite a few will have to be purchased.

CAD? Software for designing laser cut kits

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for good software (free is better) that I could use to produce .psp files which I could hand to a local laser cutter.  I just want to do this for myself, not make kits for sale.  I am very bad at cutting out parts for scratch building, but have had good luck assembling laser kits... so I would like to make some of my own design.

Anyone else already doing this?  What are you using?  What tips can you offer?
