Switching OP at Cleveland & Eastern
Today I'd like to share a little video I captured some time ago.
Showing a little switching action on my N-Scale layout.
C&E #1260 first moves a tankcar to - yet to be built - Dan's Oil and then swaps some cars at East Grain Mill
Enjoy
Cheers,
Mike

Anyone have some advice for the best power supply for MTH DCS on a mid-size HO layout
Owens Corning Foamular 150 Pink Foam No Longer Available?
Not too long ago I picked up my 2" pink foam at Home Depot. Not so today. They no longer carry. Lowes doesn't carry. It doesn't seem anyone in my region carries it. Menards back east shows they carry, but maybe no longer.
Not too happy at the moment as I was in the middle of building up a module. I have one point of contact to reach out to on Monday, but not holding my breath.

RIO GRANDE SOUTHERN: FEB 2015 OPERATIONS
Bill Scobie and his crew operate Rico Yard on the RIO GRANDE SOUTHERN: late summer 1940.
At the top of the grade, the helper works some lifts, gets clear of the train. And the train is reassembled for departure to Rico .

PECO Switch Shorts in DCC
Making progress converting my layout to DCC
Part of the project was to convert from Atlas to PECO switches. They are in and I began testing. I found that some of my PECO switches caused the engine to stall. Only some, some of the time.
They are the insulated frogs version not PECO's Electro-frogs. Converted one of them and most of my PECO's were insul-frogs, and I was glad. Now I find a few of them (maybe a third) still short out the DCC system.
Switching from HO to N Scale
So I have been drawing and tooling around with my available space (15x14) and I keep getting stuck on how much I can model vs what I want to model. I currently model in HO scale, and like most have lots of $$$ invested in HO scale.
Now I know the benefits of using N scale, track vs scenery and all that.
how my operating paperwork work basic
Car card and waybill , track warrant and sequence list.

Caboose Craziness
