Using Poly Fiber Mats to Do Landscaping Quickly - a How To Video
In another thread I shared pictures on my process for using poly fiber mats to do landscaping quickly. You can see that thread HERE. Here's a video that I made on the process.
No more blues in the Mountain - Salvage yard area on the Richlawn Railroad!
Nothing new here - I just corrected the misspelling of "Richlawn".
NOTE: I added a video showing the step by step process of creating and installing the poly fiber mats. You can see the video HERE.
NOTE: I added more pictures and description later in this thread.
I have a windows problem
Not Microsoft software this time.
I am in the design stages for a close HO model of the Southern Pacific depot in Walnut Creek as it looked in 1947. I have completed a scale mockup but am searching for the Queen Anne period architecture windows and doors that are distinctive features of the SP Type 18 building. (see http://srandsp.blogspot.com/ )
How to add the Finishing Touches to Model Buildings
We're finally at the last video in the scale house series.
Hope you've enjoyed the ride.

Mirror effect Diorama
Hello Friends
Many People on the Forum asked about the Mirror effect Diorama and here are some how to Pictures. To bad I don't have the whole progress in pictures available.
The Diorama was made by my Friend Stefan Foerg of Germany because I wanted a mirror effect like rain puddles or something similar for my H0 Collection Pictures. I wanted also the possibility to the change the background.
Here are the pictures, the whole setup is build on a piece of glas, not a mirror.
Your opinion please / I've got the blues!
I'm sick and tired of looking at blue foam on the areas of my layout where I haven't done scenery. I work SLOWLY and I was thinking about going ahead and painting all of my blue foam a dirt color and sprinkling on ground foam. This would also help my photos look better. I still plan on doing detailed scenery and structures and would just apply over the ground foam.
What do you think? Here are some pictures of my "blues".
Building a Christmas Layout/Module/Diorama
What could be more fun to work on during the Thanksgiving Holiday than a Christmas scene, complete with railroad station, church, Christmas tree salesman and a little town, complete with gazebo and town Christmas tree? For a taste of what I mean, check out my last post. That was the former layout that had to be scrapped. But I'm salvaging all that stuff for this new module.
