H's&T's Southside ballasted.....(updated!!)
Hi my friends,
well this week I gathered my courage and started ballasting the Southside of the H's&T's. Scotty Mason's podcast show keeping me company, made it half as hard to complete. So here are the pictures with at the end some random shots.
Next week I'll start going more into detail on the scenery but for now I stored the pva glue, the ballast, the static grass the every thing else cause "I AM FED UP WITH BALLASTING !!!!!!!!!!!" pfhew, feeling already better afther that shout. lol, ok the pics......

and to top that I'm getting a pay raise next year starting in January. You ask how does he pay me?
How do you quote someone on here?
Can't seem to find a way to pull a quote from a previous post...I'm sure it's right in front of my eyes too.
ship builders
any ship modlers, I'm building a cargo ship for my railroad, But I dont know how tall the structures are or how tall each level is. I'm planning on building at least 5 stories tall with ship command at top, can any one give me some advice
Model Railroad Counter Culture. . .
Being apart of the MRH community has been really enjoyable so far. There seems to be a synergy growing. It seems like we are the new Model Railroad Counter Culture. There are a lot of great modelers on this site and we don't have to wait for them to get published in hard copy, they can just publish a tip, video, etc. here and it has impact. Addtionally, there is the Model Railcast Show. It's really a great podcast. I have been on the road lately for business and it's fun to listen at night in the hotel room.
How to post doc attachments
I've got a 225k MSword97 .doc file that I'd like to make available on the forum, but I'm not finding a method to upload it so I can attach it to a forum topic entry. The method is probably right in front of me on the screen, but I don't see it. Thanks for the help.
HOn3 Building size
I have a question. I am building a HOn3 layout and I was wondering what size building should be? Can I use HO
scale buildings? Do I have to scale down the HO building? They don't make HOn3 building. HOn3 is just narrow gauge HO.

The problem of focus
When we started MRH, we weren't sure how long everything would take, so we took the safe route and went with a quarterly publication, our weekly video posts, and our $1000 per quarter prize.
Then the economy went south and some of our funding dried up. Hey, it happens. We're still in good shape with the magazine - almost to the point of breaking even. But the $1000 prize had to go for now.
We also don't have the funding to pay for Movie Monday/Movie Monthly to continue on a regular basis. If we grow as we expect in year 2, we should be able to bring these things back.
