Drop Feeders on Switch Track Locations

What is the best place on a switch track piece to soldier feeder wires?

Is there a color convention for LED indication for turnout status?

On my control panels and any dwarf signals I have used, a Green indicator = "Closed" (Through the turnout route) and Red = "Thrown" (Divergent route).  In recent posts I have seen, some use the opposite color indicator, Red = Closed, Green = Thrown.  Just curious if there is a generally accepted "standard" for Closed and Thrown color indictors.....

Good Alco PA Sound?

Is there any existing production HO scale model of the Alco PA's, or aftermarket sound product, that has sound (particularly horn) as good as the PA prototype loco in this video??

MRC Controlmaster 20

I have an MRC Controlmaster 20 walkaround power supply that went on the fritz yesterday.  It has been a great unit for at least 12 years now.  I had an engine derail, and when I set the engine back on, it took off at high speed.  I am unable to control speed, momentum or braking with the throttle.  Only thing I can do is change direction.  As soon as turn on the power, whichever engine I use just takes off.  All of the switches  are properly set.  Something must have shorted out.

Possible Ground Loop?

Could you experts take a look at these drawings to see if we created a ground loop? I read that is a no no so want to make sure the issue does not exist. We have occasional loss of control and consist issues, but it is rare.

Code 250 Rail???

While cleaning out one section of our club layout room, we found two bundles of Railcraft code 250 rail.  Does anyone have a clue what this bundles would be worth and who would use them?  Code 250 seems too big for O Scale, but too small for G Scale.  Any ideas?

Directional lighting using LED's and DC- is it possible?

I am planning the details around my future layout in HO, and will be using DC instead of DCC (due to limited finances and the fact I have a new-in-the-box MRC 20 Control Master walkaround throttle) and my question is: can LED's be used to make directional headlights/ditchlights? Is there a circuit done already out in the Internet that I can use or adapt? What about flashing beacons using LED's?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

LED 'repeater' circuit

What I'd like to do is to take the output of a Digitrax SE8C card that is already driving a signal, and 'duplicate' that on a second signal.  Unfortunately, the output is not strong enough to drive 2 LEDs.  What I'm looking for is a 'circuit' that will allow me to drive a second LED/signal.

I found plenty when I searched for 'LED repeater circuit', but I'm not savvy when it comes to electronics.  Most of it didn't seem applicable.

Slo-motion Hankscraft turnout motor instructions

I inherited several old cylindrical Hankscraft Slo-motion turnout motors but do not have any installation instructions.  These motors (photo image attached) already have a 1/4-watt resistor soldered to the positive terminal (1.2kohms).  Does anybody have installation instructions for these types of turnout motors?

Best use of extra circuit...

I am getting close to being finished with installing new recessed lighting. I am using CFLs which use 15 watts each. I have a 20 amp circuit that I am using exclusively for these fixtures. If I am correct, I could have nearly 160 of these lamps without issue on this one circuit! I will only have about 34. I also have the old circuit which had three or four fixtures that will now be unused. I have another 20 amp circuit that I plan to use for track power and for plugging tools into during construction.
