My blog post regarding building the turntable and roundhouse for Pembroke.

I am planning an Hon30 mini layout—a place to show off equipment and show off Hon30 in general.  I’m tentatively planning on building it on a 2 x 4 piece of wood, for easy portability.  The locale will be either northern Maine in the 1920’s or ‘30’s, or a current day railroad museum.  Ideally, it will be able to be redressed from one to the other.  Buildings will need to be easily removable

Finally got time to do some work on this project.  I plan on building more of these to sell later.  I Really like how this one is turning out.  I used Fisker crimpers and printed cardstock for corrugated metal.  Still need to weather and blend with chalks.

I need some help with a passenger car.  I have put together an old Walther's 80 foot coach kit.

Its a plastic replacement roof.  I want it to represent a rebuilt or at least re-roofed Illinois Central heavyweight chair car.
