This was way funnier the first time I wrote it.  But for some reason after I checked the preview and it asked me if I wanted to use a previously saved version, it erased everything I did...

  So I'll just have to let the pictures do the talking...

Ballast adds a lot to your layout.

 My apologies for the rather sloppy yet aptly named "First Post".  I was simply looking for a way to post a short bio and layout overview before I participated in the forum, but I only had a short few minutes of spare time to use my phone and I never expected people would actually read and make helpful comments already!  So thank you!

I have an HO GP9 that is UP currently and I want to repaint into the Central Vermont colors.  The light prisms at the two ends of the  engine are glued in and are not coming out.  I need to cover them in some fashion while the paint is being applied.  I have considered decals....or acrylic paint....or tape for purposes of covering the light fixtures up.

Any one got any suggestions?

Added a Alexander Scale Models - Relay Cabinet to the triple head mast at Carlisle Junction today, then weathered with Tamiya - Black Panel Line Accent.

I was recently sent some very nice train cars and I thought I would make an unboxing video about them. After looking at the cars individually, I put them on a train and run them around on the official last run of my old layout.

Hey all,

I'm curious if there are very many users of components from RR-CirKits?  I don't find any support groups on Facebook or groups.io.  I have used mainly Digitrax components in the past for detection, driving turnouts, and signals, but I am considering implementing some of the RR-CirKits components (I've already installed a couple of their WatchMan detection boards) and was wanting to find some support groups to bounce ideas off of.
