Kelly Questions - Round 17: Wayne Mollohan
Kelly Questions - Round 17: Wayne Mollohan wondered if we were ever gonna release his Kelly Questions… We just did !! It’s been almost a year since he went under the microscope of the ”Questions” and we were sure they’d gone bad but when we opened the box they’d gotten even better !!
A Rhode Island resident and a great supporter of his local club the Providence Northern you can find them here: http://www.providencenorthern.com/
Thanks Wayne for being a good sport… Enjoy !!
KCS Logo
I was bored in photoshop and saw KCS matches my name so here it is the new KCS:
Locomotive Estimated Tonnage ratings
I created a calculator for estimating tonnage ratings for my locomotives. This is spreadsheet based (open office). Using the estimator is fairly simple. If you know the actual draw bar pull of your loco , enter that number. There is also an estimator at the bottom if you only know engine weight.
Next is the Average car weight on ounces. I suppose it could be grams, as long as units are kept the same throughout.
Allagash RR Artwork?
I am looking for the artwork for the Allagash RR I have tried PMing mike but I know that it can be kind of iffy so I thought I would ask here to. I am looking for what would be needed for an F7 and info such as the font used. This is for the virtual train simulator Trainz and is for my personal use unless I get permission from mike to share the files.
Virtual Custom Painted Engines
I have been working on some custom painted engines for the game Trainz simulator. These are all made in photoshop and are my first attempts at using it (no joke) I think they turned out pretty good and will look even better when I eventually try them in game.

A Prototype For Camera Cars
Well you know they say there is a prototype for everything and here it is an SP CAMERA CAR. This was used to film footage for simulators but hey it still had cameras!
Cars, Computers, and QR Codes* - Part 3
Tired of this yet? I hope not. I'd like to get this basic background stuff nailed down and then get into the part where "Then magic happens."

IAIS MOW #52 resurrected
I have a maintenance of way truck that has been out of commission for several years and I decided to tinker with it to get it back running.
The brass model originally had grossly oversized wheels and I wanted to replace them with scale wheels. I found the appropriate parts off of an HO scale cement truck.
Ferwood & Gulf RR "Heritage" Herald
To All: The Fernwood & Gulf RR (later Fernwood, Columbia & Gulf) was a line mergered into the Illinois Central RR. Today all it's trackage is abandoned. I intend to apply the herald to a freight car. Herald art work and photo by Elvin Howland. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout.
