Shedding for 2

A couple quickies to fill in some spots at the club.

Forth of July fireworks

Yes this is going in my train layout. I have a lake that during the day will look like any other lake, but when the lights go down this will come up into the lake. The animation here is run by four Arduino's, a serial MP3 card, light sensor, 8 channel relay block, fifteen RGB LEB's and a scissor lift that is still in the works. My room lights are on a dimmer so that when it gets dark enough the stars in the sky will come on, the street sounds will go off and the show will begin. Hope you like this one, it is not recommended for anyone to ever do again.

Fire Station Animated with burning building

Just finished this and this is my first BLOG so not quite sure how to do this. Hope this puts my video out there for all to see. This was done with and Arduino a proc sensor, LED's, smoke generator, small .030 motor geared way down and some magnets.

square corners, CTC

Square corners satisfy.  The MicroMark gluing jig is a good base, and the Coffman right angle clamp works well with 1/8" masonite in two of the pictures below. ( both MRH sponsors )

HOn3 Loco Test Stand Anyone?

Does anyone produce an HOn3 test stand?  You know - the roller-based system to break-in a new or rebuilt locomotive?  Anyone have a design for one?

PSX-AR cababilities

Hey guys, back with another DCC question. We've got a double-track wye that leads the the station throat and complex on Nolan's layout. In laying out the detection blocks for signaling, the outermost two tracks of the would obviously be able to be used at the same time, while taking either of the inners legs would be one block since taking either leg occupies both inner tracks.

Industry question

Hi everyone,

I’m planning on having two different types of sand loading on my layout, construction sand loaded by silo or front end loader, and special purpose sand, loaded from a covered silo. I guess what I’m asking is what would a specialize loading plant look like?? I know the loading site would be covered to keep moisture out of the covered hoppers, but I have no idea what the rest of the plant might look like. What should I be looking for??

Thanks, stay safe, Scott ????????

Spanish layout

To present my Spanish layout to you, I chose the last video I edited. It is a train station located along the Mediterranean coast. The period chosen corresponds to the 80s, the period of my adolescence and my holidays in Spain every summer.

Sorry, I don't know how to directly insert a video.
