Looking for plans for a shelf layout
I'm looking for advice and/or plans for a shelf/switching layout. The fixed parameters are: HO, standard gauge, 9 feet by 18 inches, at least one connection to 'the outside world' one one end. The rest is flexible, though I'm thinking the time period is somewhere between 1920 and 1960. The idea is to have a layout that can be run standalone or be attached to an existing layout or another unit.
Alcove expansion progress
Last Friday was my night to host the guys from our operating group and although we only had a total of four of us, we got a great deal accomplished. Since we were mainly working in the small area of the train room alcove expansion it worked out better having fewer people. In the background you can see the two coved corners. Keith is installing drywall along with help from Paul and Steve. The door way on the right will be framed in and covered with drywall. The track in the foreground will be removed and possibly reused ouside of the train room as a temporary re

As Promised Earlier!
As I promised earlier on another blog, I would do some video of the V&O, and here it is, not bad as far as Trainz routes go, however it does have its gremlins, one of the tunnels isn't complete, and there doesn't appear a way to make it complete, this tunnel also isn't a portal or iportal, so the train doesn't disappear inside it only to re emerge somewhere else on the route, the train will just crash through a mountain, go figure, could be a DLS problem or maybe a content creator problem.
Ok, how do I view MRH magazine on the iPad?
Ok, we finally have the iPad in Canada came out June 1st) and have had a chance to play with it.
I downloaded GoodReader but I can't figure out how to download the magazine to the app. I tried the "download now" link, but I need flash for that, so I tried the "click here for other download options", but there is no "Right click" on the iPad.
Any help would be appriciated.
By the way, the magazine looks great viewing it online with the iPad
