Progress continues on the Colorado Front Range Railroad.
1) Results of my test running diesel locomotives versus steam locomotives pulling up the ruling grade. Maybe not what you expected my Broadway Limited 2-10-2's vs SD9's
The winner pulled 6.4 lbs up the 1.2% grade (with a curve)
2) John got much of the electronics figured out to this week including our block detectors.
3) Sean got a little more track laid and the entire sub roadbed for the yards in Denver.
answer to the blog question and problems that I posted early:

Denver Union Station and Rice yard
As work continues we had a work weekend last week. And turnout was not too good as some of the crew had personal and work obligations to meet. So Sean and I carried on as we finish the siding in Longmont and turn the corner to head into Denver.
Update on the Colorado Front Range Railroad
A little different this time I talk about about how we are going about laying track. I have some question about RR-cirkits watchmen and a few thanks going out to two gentlemen who have help my out on photos the last two weeks.

Update on new layout after watching end of the line
After watching Trainmasters TV March 2014 act two and a possibility of a move, I evaluated my current layout Colorado and Coyote Creek. And on May 29, 2014 I began tearing down the layout. Since then I have had two other gentlemen join my crew and we now have a four-man crew working to build the new layout.
I would like to share with Model Railroad Hobbyist members the work that we have accomplished in the last two months. Here is a short video on my update for August 3, 2014.
