new stuff for my layout

this is a short vid on what progress & upgrades i have made over the past month or so. the peavine uses a ton of 4 axel units for the local switching, so i need to get a few more. going with digitrax was my best move ever. it should be fun to run the layout from my phone or pc
sorry for the super fast panning i did, i forgot that some of you requested that i slow the panning down.
enjoy the vid .....thanks for watching

DIGITRAX..HUM, DID I MAKE A MISTAKE????

hello every one,
i recently converted from an MRC prodigy advanced system ( the reason i
changed is because MRC's tech department is terrible..very rude) but the system
ran fine,i had some small issues with the throttles .so over the past 2 weeks i have
spent in access of $500.00 to upgrade to the Digitrax DCS100 w/ DT400 & UP5 i was having
problems programming locos ( posted on here about a week ago) so i purchased the PR3,2 PS14"s & a UR90.

problems progamming locos

this past week i have purchased a digitrax DCS100 with a DT400 throttle. but i seem to be having a problem programming locos. i have followed the instruction as written in the owner manual but still having problems. it won't let me input the CV# i have tried several times & it is frustrating me. my previous DCC system was a MRC prodigy advanced squared system that i have had no problems when programming locos. i don't know if i am doing something wrong or if there is a step missing from the instructions.

my bnsf peavine sub track plan

hello every one..i have been posting quit a few videos about my layout, but never posted the track plan. last week, when my friend from Canada was here, we installed JMRI panel pro. so i played around with it for a while & came up with this drawing. it is about 99% accurate. my layout is a point to point that starts in phoenix az & ends in ash fork az. it is about 195 miles of trackage.the table height at Mobest yard is 40" & 60" at a Ash Fork.i am very limited to space so i was forced to do lots of compression

RAIL FANNING THE PEAVINE 2

to all.. here the video clips from the second part of my rail fanning day. the battery in my camera was going low so these clips are cut short. it seems like all the are doing is going back & forth but there are several moves going on. we were not allowed on "Cal gases" property so i couldn't' get the spotting of the cars in the complex.

by the end of the day the crew moved more than 100 cars

enjoy the vid
