Many of you know that my wife had a stroke 2 years ago and it has been my honor and ministry to care for her.
Well they just discovered and removed a brain tumor from me and here’s the
My cancer: GBM facts from the web: very rare - less than 200,00 cases per year.grades 1, -4 with 4 the fastest growing. I have grade 4 - no cure.
Life expectancy 12 - 18 months. Only 25% survive 1 year or more. Only 5% survive 5 years or more. One women has survived 11 years
A Place....
First operations over the The Hill deemed a success. No derailments on the new trackage. Two fellows made the trip more than once. I will be rebuilding Dave's Siding/Cookieville. Not well done.
Cascade Sub: Summer Update
This update follows a long summer (and spring) of progress on the Cascade Sub. Given school closures and stay-at-home orders, the past months have been the most productive in the layout's brief history. Most notably, scenery is well underway on the lower level in Oakridge and Westfir, and the entire layout is operational with the recent completion of Klamath Falls Staging.
Merkiomen Memorial
I recently retired and vacated the parsonage (I’m a Lutheran pastor) we occupied for 23 years. We moved from NJ to PA in retirement, buying our first house (at the tender age of 65), and downsizing in the process. While the layout described in this blog was small (it nearly filled a 13’x12’ room), it wouldn’t fit into our new abode.
