Has anyone figured how to get this emagazine on an iPad?   I am able to load the other three eMagazines on my iPad but not this one.

Use MRH web downloader (primary server) to download landscape (or portrait if you prefer). Once downloaded, tap on the PDF and notice the option in the upper right corner to open in iBooks. iBooks is available free app in iTunes if it didn't ship on your version iPad.

1. Don't forget to NOT use the Flash downloader.

2. Use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app to view the file once you've downloaded it. Tap on the MRH file and select "Open in..." at top left, then "Copy to Acrobat Reader".

Actually, I'm trying this now, and there currently seems to be a problem with either the download servers or flaky iOS9.

HTML5 version is working fine, though.

Update: #2 method above now working fine - just takes a while. Presumably was flaky iOS9, which kept reloading the page.

We've found browser-based downloads of huge files on mobile devices to be very iffy. We can't say it enough: on mobile devices, USE A DOWNLOAD MANAGER APP. That's why they make them, because browser downloads of large files on mobile devices often fail.

On an iPad, the very best download manager app to use for MRH is GoodReader. It not only has a very nice download manager, but it's also a great PDF and MP4 video viewer. To us, it's the perfect MRH consumption app. You can read our magazines, plus you can download and unzip our eBooks and videos - all within this one awesome app: GoodReader.

Get GoodReader and never look back. You won't bother with browser downloads ever again. Just go to the web downloader, TAP-AND-HOLD the download link of your choice and select copy. Then go into GoodReader, select the Connect icon, then select Enter URL (the URL is automatically pasted in) and press OK. Watch the nice download progress bar and in a few moments, go to the download folder and Voila! There's your magazine! Painless, easy, works every time.

Joe is correct - GoodReader is a wonderful app for downloading and reading MRH.  I haven't had any problems at all with the process.

Are you using the free or purchased version? 

A little while ago, I saw a comment by Joe Fugate as to which was the best version of MRH to load onto an iPad. I can't remember which version he recommended, and after searching can't seem to find the comment. So Joe, can you remind me which version of MRH you feel is the best to download to an iPad, and why. My dodgy memory suggests it was the non-embedded version. I typically download the Embedded Landscape version to both my PC and iPad, but I typically read it on the iPad as it's more convenient. I keep the PC version as a backup.

The Embedded edition is designed for Windows PCs only. It's a huge waste of space on everything else. The Standard edition as of Gen3 is the same quality and doesn't include all that embedded media you CAN NOT view on anything but a Windows PC.

Only Standard Edition is supported on every device. If you download the huge Embedded edition on anything but a Windows PC, we won't support it. Move back to Standard edition or you're on your own if you have a problem.
