Are typos bugs to be stamped?

"...so that the more dedicated readers can help us stamp the last few bugs out of an issue before it goes out for broad release."

If typos are found in an article, are they likely to be fixed (if reported in the first few days of the month)? If so, what is the preferred method for reporting them? A comment in the article feedback section for the article in question?

For example, in this article it talked (p18) about "spam filterts".

Nope, tell us!

Tell us about any errors as soon as you can. We'll either fix them or report them as corrections in the next issue, depending on the problem.

First Monthly Issue

As I have just finished the first 19 pages and Staff Notes in Issue 11, I have to say A+, 5 Stars I like the Start of this months Issue and the short to the point Staff comments.Mainly I wanted to give my 2¢ and say Happy New Year. If the first 19 pages were this good I can't wait to get back to the reading.

The number (1) thing I like so far is your New way for Sorting MRH Monthly issues on our computers. I no longer need to add a number to the front of each tag Thanks and another 10 Stars.

Sponsor Adds are really great and their links are fast and right on, I give a few extra Editor points for that

Monthly!

Thank you so much for MRH.  I really look forward to each issue and I do try to support the advertisers.  I am a returnee to the hobby and the advertisers bring their unique products to my attention in a way that print doesn't.  Your format makes it easier for me to delve into advertisers in a manner that I am not able to in print advertising.

Many thanks for providing this valuable material monthly for the hobbyist.   Sam

Top 5 Articles

I would like to suggest that the "Top 5 Articles" that you're including be accompanyied by links to those articles so that people can just click the link to (re)view the article.

John

Modeling the South Pennsylvania Railroad ("The Hilltop Route") in its final days of steam. Heavy patronage by the Pennsy and Norfolk & Western. Coal, sand/gravel/minerals, wood, coke, light industry, finished goods, dairy, mail and light passenger service. Interchanges with the PRR, N&W, WM and Montour.

Kudos!

"Notes from the MRH staff" is informative, and written in a friendly, conversational tone that makes it very readable.  I'm really enjoying my subscription!

Reader Reviews Scale

Been reading various issues of MRH and I have to say it''s a quality product. You should be proud!

However, I have a suggestion regarding the method of offering reviews by readers. MRH currently proscribes a 5 point rating system whereas I think a 10 point system would be more intuitive to readers.

More people (myself included) are familiar, and thus comfortable, with rating things on a 10 point scale and I think would find it easier to grade articles using that basis.

Best wishes.

John
