3d Printed Flat Car

I found one of those little gems around thingiverse this one being an HO scale flatcar, while to be succesful a resin printer is best those of you with ABS are worth trying it out. It is soaking right now as I speak after printing last night. The car features rivets, stake pockets and other details. I paired it with some 3d printed trucks and the results were amazing.

Track Plan in 1'x14' feet

So I know this has ben brought up a lot but talking to my parents I am likely going to get a 1'x14' benchwork space. this will be floating benchwork which I really like but am looking for ideas. these can be rough sketeches or point me to prototype arrangements. I like heavy switching ops and era is 60's to 70's. Looking for whatever you have whether it be city or a town with industries lets see it!

Interesting RR find

Lately there has been a large amount of railroad maintenance in my area taking a look along the platform I have found tons of spikes and some fishplates to. What I wonder is if I am careful and check to make sure no trains are coming first is it OK for me to go and grab one? I would assume as they are the leftover old ones it would be fine but just wanted to check. One thing that I did grab this time that I found near a crossing was after doingn some research a mounting for the lights on a crossing gate this was sitting on the grass nearby and to me I would say is a pretty golden find.

NMRA Midwest Regional Stories: BEST IN SHOW NOVICE CAT. WINNER

I have some great news from the convention this weekend which still continues into Sunday. I am typing this now after getting back from the banquet, winning three auction items quite a few door prizes and also.... best in show in the novice category for models for my turntable diorama. To start out the weekend I went to work on a local model railroad in operations. I had a job involving some intense switching but the group there were very impressed on how I did, it only took about 2 hours swapping about 40-50 cars back and forth.

Sometimes Can't Scroll on MRH?

It has happened sometime where I can't use the scroll wheel on MRH. Other sites it works fine and seems to be fairly off and on. Does anyone else have this problem? I can still click and use the bar when this happens but wonder if it something that could eb fixed on the other end.

Orange ribbon or simillar between rails?

Recently I saw a piece of orange cloth stretched between the rails by a crossing near my house. It was mounted I assume by MOW as it was going on in the area that day but what purpose did it serve? Could someone shed some light on this?

Making trackplan digital

Could someone take this plan and convert it in scarm (or other) with atlas snap track or simillar? some flex track is OK but my attempts at home on the floor were very unsuccessful. I have seen people quite a bit of skill in this which is why I am asking....

dimensions are: 4-1/2'x6'

The only change is cut the track that goes into the tunnel at the tunnel and make it 5'x7'
