Diluted Glue Despensers

I do not like the woodland glue sprayer.  It shoots all over the place.  I have used an eye dropper which is very directed but it holds little glue and needs refilling constently.  I tride a Hobby Lobby bottel with a single spout which would be fine but it leaks like a sive.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Indexing MRH and other railroad items

This thread was started in order to have a more descriptive and eye-catching heading for the subject.

Rapido Trains Inc. announces revolution in model railroad realism

TORONTO: Rapido Trains Inc. is pleased to announce a new revolution in model railroading realism: 2:1 SCALE.

As the model railroad community ages it is getting harder and harder to see the small, fiddly details on our model trains. Rapido has developed an innovative solution to this growing problem - 2:1 scale.

With 2:1 scale model trains, the details are twice the size of the prototype, so you will never have to worry about losing a grab iron or coupler spring again! That's because our grab irons weigh close to a quarter of a ton!

Magazine referrence

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if there could possibly be a way to find articals from the past issues of the MRH  magazine.

When i see something I want to try at a later time I find myself having to open every issue to look for the contents for that artical.

Could we possibly get a master index on the site that would let us see all the how too's etc from past issues.

I am ready to paint lines on my roads, but I cant find the artical that Charlie wrote without looking at every issue.

Thanks

Mark

For the Reading RR modelers

Hi Reading modelers

From recent posts I gather that quite a few members model The Reading RR.  While trying to do some research on a rr to model I stumbled on this.  This man models the Shamokin Division of the Reading in O scale.  I don't know anything about the Reading (except for the Monopoly game) and  I didn't have time to read his website so I don't know how valuable this info will be to anyone,  Here is the website:

Caboose or no caboose?

Here's a question that I know will really generate some interesting answers. In the end, I think this will end up as a "unofficial modeling poll".

Friday Video Fun 3-25

Well I read Ricks post (rtw3rd) about using the Muvi mini dv camcorder on his train layout and went and purchased one on Amazon.com for about $55 with free shipping. The first unit I received was DOA,but the 2nd unit worked just fine. Amazon has a simple return policy so it was fast and no big deal. Here's my first video shot just yesterday. It's actually pretty cool. The video quality is certainly no HD but it's OK for what it does.

1 dead 15 injured on model railroad

I am saddened to hear of a death and 15 injured in a train wreck on a model railroad over there in the states.I didn't quite catch the whole broad cast but I think it was diesel hauled and they said the engineer sped up to give the riders a thrill. Some thrill.Surely he knew his responsibilities for tourist rides.According to the news the resultant lawsuits are underway.Must have been big to make the news way down here.
