Tam Valley Web Page
Is anyone else having display issues with some of the Tam Valley web site pages? I get the same black background display on Chrome, IE and FireFox (http://www.tamvalleydepot.com/products/dccpowerfrogjuicers.html#booster)? The page has rendered correctly in the past.
I contacted them and a quick reply suggested refreshing the page (no help). I have tried clearing the cache (no help). As Duncan at TV is not seeing the problem, I'm on my own here.

Happy New Year everyone! Let's see the progress now!

Off-Topic - CNC Router Help ??
I know this is technically off-topic for a Model Railroad forum, but I know there are some MR's here who use CNC Routers-- I've been building my CNC Router and I've gotten it all up and running and cut a few things, but I'm having a hard time getting it calibrated correctly. I'm using Mach3 and CamBam and I've done the motor calibration bit over and over and I'm certain it's right, but every time I load a gerber file from CamBam into Mach3, Mach3 renders it around 10 times the specified size. I'm working in Millimeters in all my programs.

Cheap Rock Strata
I have a spot on my layout, the Wakefield, Houghton and Trout Lake where the slope is too steep. More retaining walls were not what I wanted, as there are numerous retaining walls already present.
I decided that I wanted a rock wall there. I also decided that I didn't want the rock wall to cost too much. So I decided to try some thing new to make a stratified rock outcrop.
This guys is GOOD!!
Found this video on youtube...This guy is GOOD. His other videos are just as good. Someday I'll be that good
Weird (?) signal config
A nearby proto (CN, ex-EJE) has two mains converging to single track at one point. At that point there's a signal mast for each main (logical) with a 3-light over a 1-light (which is always red) over a 2-light signal head. What would be the purpose of a signal configuration like this at a simple convergence? Why not a 3 over 3?
