Experience With Ambroid Snow Plow Kit?

Anyone have experience with the Ambroid HO scale snow plow kit. I have built the Ye Olde Huff and Puff transfer caboose kit so this will not be my first one but wanted to see if anyone had photosor any tips on surprises that came up while working on it. I am fairly certain all parts are accounted for too.

I came across this model made by Athearn. I'm trying to find out more info about this car and if this is a model prototypical for CN.

Any help would be appreciated.

Seems to be a hard model to find, they must have sold out this past summer.

Day late... but...

So, have you ever bought an item from eBay... that was old, and used... and had a decoder that folks "warned you about", but when you get it, and put it on the tracks, it just simply runs... BEAUTIFULLY?

Any issue with using decal-related solutions on an acrylic paint job?

I'm thinking I want to use acrylics instead of enamels, acct. the clean-up, toxicity, airbrush cleanliness, etc. reasons for using the former. This would be for the main 'body' paint job, not just details.

THE OVERALL QUESTION: Will the chemicals in any aspect of the decal setting, sealing, etc. process, mar the acrylic paint job?

A MORE SPECIFIC ONE: Can I apply the decals without putting a glosscoat or similar seal over the entire painted area first?

The internets is all over the place on this question. Thank you.
