SMA15: New Dual Acessory-Multifunctionl 17 Channel Configurable DCC Decoders for about $5 with Configurable Servo Support

With exactly the same low cost hardware and a library of examples ready for anyone to download and use, you can now configure six “mobile or multifunction” decoders to respond to DCC Functions and a similar set of six Accessory decoders to respond to DCC Switch commands. The neat feature is that the Accessory decoders ALSO respond to a programmable single mobile decoder address, so you can configure each of the 17 pins to perform different functions, including their use as a 17 servo accessory decoder driver.

Video Editing Software Question

I'm about to dip a toe into the world of model railroad video making and would appreciate any recommendations for a straightforward free video editor program.

I downloaded Lightworks on to my laptop for a 'look see', but when returning a couple of weeks later to install on my main machine for a first serious go, I hit multiple issues.
I ended up drowning in a sea of problems; license reactivation, password error, email confusion, token error confusion, machine license confusion and to be honest, rapidly lost the will to live.

Cricut - first experience

I received my Cricut two days ago and just had a chance to unpack it and try to get a small project going.  I needed to create a small concrete deck/loading dock for a Rix building I've created.  The deck will fit in the corner area.

Got my KNK Zing Cutter

Test drove my KNK Zing cutter for a first spin.

This cutter idea is great, cut a simple shape in .011 sytrene and it came out crisp and clean.

Love it when things work when I don't know what the heck I'm doing.

Gonna love this machine.

New Cover paper at Kalmbach

For the first time in my life I held a new Model Railroader magazine and the ink on the back and front cover did not come off on my hands. Kudos to Kalmbach for the paper upgrade!
