Builders in Scale 1001 SM-1 SwitchMaster Switch Machine

Hi I purchased a Builders In Scale 1001 SM-1 SwitchMaster Switch Machine.  It is a stall motor type  and I need to mount it on a Free-Mo Module that has to be operated from both sides of the module.  Since this is a Junction module it needs to be as flawless as possible or easily repaired on the spot.  So the best I can figure is to wire in pair of 3 way electrical switches on the facial one on each side, but is that the best way?

And we're back.

*tap tap* Is this thing on?

Okay, after a rough patch, we're back and looking forward to some small layout action!

Let's respond to the comments from my first post!

Redtruck, who commented on the professional look of the layout, and a Rhino model kit:  I am an old, old GW player.  :)  Thanks for the comment, the fascia really makes a layout!

Help on Track Operations

Hi All

I'm in need of some support and possibly some remedy to a problem I am having. Perhaps some of you have encountered the same issue.

THE ISSUE:

I have 2 Athearn SD40-2's 6 wheel HO Locomotives. I cant seem to get them to stay on the track when entering an HO Atlas Code 83 #563 Wye Turnout (7 51/64 inch). The wye is constructed with a 22 inch radius turn.

Also the loco's derail on the upon entering 2 HO Walther's Code 83 # 8827 #6 Curved Turnouts (12 25/32 inch)

110 volt static grass applicator

3 or 4 years ago I bought the 120 volt negative ion generator from Electronic warehouse.  I had, somewhere on this PC, a detailed article on how to build the 120 volt unit.  Now after two days of looking I can't find it. The article used PVC piping and a plastic tub  for the grass.  The instructions on both the construction of the receptacle and handle and the wiring were very specific and well detailed.  I don't remember the author's name.

Mike Confalone: Diesel project 2: B&M GP38-2, p2

Mike Confalone continues diesel weathering project 2. Mike weathers the tank and trucks with PanPastels, then weathers the walkways with PanPastels and just a light dry brush of oils. Mike finishes up this loco by dirtying the handrails with PanPastels and then he reviews the loco on his layout, pointing out a couple of small post-weathering paint-job changes he made as a result of some prototype research. Part two of two.
