Vision-challenged modelers?
We just received some very nice feedback from a vision-challenged person who wants to get into the hobby after listening to the MRH Podcast.
So - here's a call out to any other vision-challenged modelers out there. Please let us know who you are and how we could hook you up with this newbie who wants to do the hobby. How do you do the hobby, and what are the methods you're using to make the hobby work for you?

Ok, what's this got to do with model railroading or railroading in general.
I have to think when REA delivered packages in express cars. Then came UPS, Fedex, DLH and other's delivering packages to your door. What happened to REA? Could this spell the end of UPS or the other delivery services that deliver to your door. One things for sure UPS or Fedex isn't going to deliver it at 100MPH.
Semaphore Signals
I have been studying Semaphore Signals for potential incorporation on a layout in the future. I've come across some excellent information about operations and design among various railroads. I'm considering using primarily Semaphore signaling on my CC&CI, as a mid-60's Class I carrier, this would not be the normal system..... but I'm not a normal guy, so...

Here are a couple videos of our most recent set up of our On30 Modular layout. We where set up at the GTS show the weekend of Feb 28 Mar 1st.

It was our biggest set up yet and had lots of visitors who seemed to enjoy themselves. There where a few new mods online and some improvements to older ones.
Very busy but we had fun and look forward to our next one.
