On increasing the reader base of MRH

Obviously, if we are here, we are reading the magazine.  But what can we do to increase the readership?

1. My local club just published a line in the monthly minutes to "read MRH magazine".  Apparently, some of the rank and file members were not aware of it.  This became apparent when the president was mentioning my latest article, and some people went "huh?" at the business meeting.  Just because they like trains, doesn't mean they know about it.

May issue status - releasing evening of May 2nd

May issue is done, but it needs about 6 hours of rollout time and final download testing ... and that would put it into late Thu or early Friday.

However, I'm the one who knows how to do this final rollout and I'm going to do something I rarely do and I'm going to take a family day on May 1 because it's my youngest grandson's first birthday. This grandson is my son's son, meaning this is the first grandson to pass on the Fugate name - so I'm going to take the day to spend with family.

New Layout (for web page not trains)

I like the new design of the forum index. Did anyone else notice?

Windows8/8.1

I am guessing but I think that maybe this question was answered somewhere before on this site. I am getting a new computer and it will unfortunately have either Windows ver. 8 or ver. 8.1 loaded on it. My question is will Model Railroad Hobbyist work with it and is there anything I need to do for getting the magazine onto the new computer?
