MRH magazine

Trivial request, how about a larger (and improved) set of smilies?

I bring this up because I enjoy them (I know some do not) but the selection is quite meager...

How do you read MRH on your iPad?

I usually read MRH on an iPad. Based on recommendations here, I have been using GoodReader. However, one aspect of GoodReader annoys me- if I click on an ad, or a video, I am taken to a new page with the material, but when I am done, there is no way back. The tab is still for the current magazine, a jump out does not create a new tab. The back button is disabled, and there is no done button such as many other apps have.

Logging caboose kit bash

Great article on the kit bashed logging cabooses. It is nice to see inexpensive models made to look like a million bucks. You did the same in the modeling world that they did it the real logging world.

Problems with Sept MRH

First off, great digital magazine and I do click on the links that interest me.

I downloaded the 7" tablet version with the embedded links (166MB).

I am using a Google Nexus 7 with ezPDF reader.   Attempting to open it results in a  "PDF file damaged" message.

Downloading the smaller version, without the embedded media was ok.
