I have a Bachman GP35 CSX 4402 and I¨ve a question about it. Is this model based on a real prototype?. Searching in the internet I´ve seen this road number is a GP40 -2.

Questions on N-scale double track
I'm planning a closet layout with Atlas N Code 55 track. There may be double or triple track on the curves - 11.25", 12.5", and 13.75"R. How close should these be so that long passenger cars do not touch the adjacent trains? And, what size steam locomotives will/will not manage on these curves? I'm guessing 2-6-2 is probably about my size limit, but a 4-8-4 would be nice. Tell me like it is, thanks.

Working rotary beacon on Genesis F units
I am looking to put operating rotary beacons on my Athearn Genesis F units. These are sound equipped with the older MRC decoders. Any one have any suggestions if this will be programmable with the mars light feature?

It would appear Walthers, along with everyone else is adopting the "ready to roll" practice, and only offering their "new" Hot Metal and Slag Cars for their steel mill series. These are clearly the same kits of which I have several, except they are all assembled, and therefore, cost about 10x more than the original kit!

A few weeks ago I posted a question about wiring an 060 AHM switcher for dcc snd was told that the red
wire is always on the right and black is to the left now every decoder has an orange and grey wire they
have to be wired to something my understanding is that the grey wire is negative and the orange is positive
but when I conect them this way and program the decoder the engine makes a few clicking sounds like its
