Curved bridges

Probably a simple question: how do you create a curved (or seemingly curved) bridge, like the one in the photo in the blog entry, "Friday Night Group D&H Operations?"

Pine Trees (Foxtail Fern)

Hi again everyone,

First of, I wish to give a huge THANK YOU laugh to the staff and all the forum members apart of model railroad hobbyist, some of my videos were featured last week via email. The response has been overwhelming and very positive, it's a good feeling knowing that all the hard work and time I put into producing the videos doesn't go un-noticed...... Thank you!

Advice on how to mount gates?

Hi all,

Im trying to figure out a good way of mounting two gates on my n scale layout. The gates are part of a chain link fence leading in to my team track, and i want to animate them, so i can use DCC to open and close the gates.

Looking for station lights like these

Has anyone seen HO lights that look like these on the station platform?

I checked the Walthers site but couldn't find anything.

Simple rooftop billboard from scratch

I'm going to be building a flat for the club layout--a factory to add some depth.  I had a little time tonight, so I built the rooftop sign from a bit of strip wood sitting in the box of miscellaneous STUFF to build things out of.

Since I love boxing, I thought that an Everlast factory would be a good thing to make, so here's the billboard.

SP branchline scenery

Scene on my SP branchline .  It is freelance early 1960's rural flavor.  The Jeep is a Herpa military.

I can't detail locomotives well.  Scenery keeps me out of trouble.

MRH magazine Book "EARLY WOOD FRAME AND STONE STRUCTURES" Review 5 STARS

The REVIEW=

The book comes very well packaged for shipping and then inside it has a plastic shrink wrap to protect it from moister.

Well Done shipping dept.

ATSF Bakersfield Ice Deck

I am building the two ice decks that were at the ATSF Bakersfield yard as they were in 1950 for the LaMesa Model RR Club in Balboa Park in San Diego. In 1950 the Santa Fe had modified the decks to support a powered ice machine that ran on rails embedded in the deck. These machines took whole blocks of ice, ground these up and blew the crushed ice into refer ice bunkers. The photos are of the work in progress north deck. The model is made of resin castings from RTV molds of masters I made for the various parts. The overall model will be 9 ft long.
