Conductive Paint -Might be helpful for someone
I use this on electric guitar builds.
Thought it might be helpful for someone given that it is an electrically conductive paint.
With all the new electrical and electronic projects being created by folks, just figured someone might have an MRR application for this stuff.

Varible Engine Speeds,..automatic with DCC?
Yesterday I was finally able to run some trains around the perimeter of the lower deck layout I am building. That perimeter track involves a few ramps up one portion of my viaduct, and down another. I was test running with plain DC power, and the trains would slow down quiet a bit while climbing, and speed up while descending.
Does DCC operation do any adjusting of this engine speed automatically? ...or can it be programed to do so??
Why 2 Speakers in a tender?
What are the advantages (and disadvantages) of putting 2 speakers in the tender of a steam loco? Is it for volume? Different range? (bass vs. higher pitches)? Or what?

A Simple DCC Engine
I am in the planning stage of a shelf switching layout that our grandson ( 5 years old at this point) and I can spend time operating. I will be using an NCE Power Cab (given to me by a friend who updated his home layout). I am looking for suggestions for a 4-axle early generation locomotive (GP-7/GP9 type that is DCC with sound. I am looking for one without too many options.
Since this will be a switching layout low speed performance is desired while high speed is not necessary.
Turnout Control in 2021
So after putting it off for YEARS i finally need to choose a way to control my turnouts, So i am looking to see what options are available in 2021.

Locobuffer Or PR4?
I’m fed up with my Digitrax PR3. Every time I try to use it becomes an all day process to get it set up and working. I never really know what I did to make it work when it does. I got to the point where I won’t shut down my computer once it’s running for fear of having to set it up again. But ultimately something happens and the connections is lost and I’m back to another wasted day trying to make it work.

Help, DCC Control Center (3 decks, multiple districts)
Help, DCC Control Center (3 decks, multiple districts)
I have a wireless NCE Pro system I intend to install on my double deck HO layout. I don't imagine I will be running any more than 4-5 trains at anyone time, and likely it will only be 2 most of the time. There will likely be some double-headers, or even some push-pull.
With a 5amp power supply most recommended by NCE I don't think I will need additional boosters?

A question about passing siding turnout control
Referencing the plan of my harbor module below, you can see the short passing siding/runaround. I had only planned on using one panel switch to control both remote machines on each end but now I'm wondering if each turnout should have it's own panel switch. I can't really imagine why I would ever want to throw the machines separately but I want to consider all eventualities. What do you guys think?
LED/Fiber Optics Technical Question
Hi: New member here. Looks like a very active and informative site.
I do a lot of work with 3D printing Fusion 360 and Ender equipment, making building fronts with LED lighting.
I am in O-Scale 2-Rail, but my questions will fit all scales.

Rail Joiner's prices
A bit over a year ago I purchased a whole bunch of Atlas rail joiners packed in small bubble packs of 48 each pk,...code100/83 NS HO. The blister pks were mounted on a 'sheet' of them at something like 6-8 pks per sheet. Somehow I have misplaced them,...just can't find them.
So I thought replenishing my supply and looked for some at this weekends train show. Only one fellow had some and they were priced at $4.95 per blister pack of 48. That's over 10 cents each !!
