Wiring Plan for Reverse Loop- Review Request
Hello!
I am attempting my first wiring of a PSX-AR and PSX for an HO reverse loop. I would really appreciate if some of you pros could take a look at my plans and let me know what you think.
A couple of questions: Are the gaps correct? Is a gap at G4 needed? And is the PSX-AR really installed outside of the loop, while the PSX is installed inside? Thank you! -L

Digitrax Equipment
The first item is a command station DCS100. It looks to be brand new, and it has a label on the front face that says 8amp, rather than the 5 amps I see on most images on the internet? And that label appears to be factory?? Is this something different?
Central Location for Electronics
All,
I'm getting ready to start benchwork on an around the room HO scale layout that is island style, except for a yard and hidden staging section which will be up against one wall. I'm planning to start construction with the staging yard.
I was planing on building an electronics rack on full length drawer guides under the staging yard (or a cabinet) since this wall has three available receptacles on a 20A GFCI protected circuit.
Tortoise problems
I have several Tortoise switch machines installed on the layout. I notice that the auxiliary contacts are not working. I contacted Circuitron but did not receive a response. I tested the contacts with my multi-meter.
Any suggestions.
Thanks...Ken
Unused brass track - worth trying to sell or just junk?
A few years ago when I first tried to start model railroading I got a lot of old brass track from a friend. It looks pretty much new, but I've decided that it's probably best to use nickel silver track instead. The only question I have is what to do with the brass track. I have a lot of it in good condition, is it likely that it could be sold on eBay or elsewhere, or is it just junk that no one would buy?

WOW Sound decoder woes........
A number of years ago I purchased a WOW Sound steam 101 decoder with keep alive but never installed it in any locomotive. I am very partial to the QSI Titan decoder as their stereo feature is really noticeable in my O scale steam locomotives. I finally had a chance to install the WOW in an Alco 2-8-2 Minaret with a single speaker because it’s decoder was acting wonky.

Digitrax's new SuperThrottle
I think Digitrax has been listening when people have been beating up on them regarding ergonomics, ease-of-use, and User Interface issues.
They've just introduced the DT-602 series throttle:

Simple DCC install questions -- my first attempt
I am doing my first DCC install and do not want to screw up. Any help you can give me would be great. This is an atlas alco s-4. The decoder is an esu lok sound 58821. Photos below.
I looked at at tcs decoder installation which was not sound. That is why I am thinking of ordering this Lok Sound one -- 58821. -- photo below.
Walthers Proto 2000 F7A Manual?
Hi All:
A friend is here for the day and he has a couple of Walthers Proto 2000 F7A's w/Tsunami sound. The volume is whisper quiet and the horn needs to be changed out.
As usual, there is zero documentation included with the engine that lists CV's. (Such as optional horns, etc). I've tried using TSU1 and TSU2 CV lists, as well as Soundtraxx Sound Value CV lists to no avail.
Searching the Soundtraxx menu's at their website does not yield a tech reference or manual for the Walthers P2K F7A.
NCE Light It Programming with JMRI
Hi everyone,
I am having issues reprogramming the address for an NCE Light It decoder I have on an aux. tender with to light functions. NCE instructions don't appear to work.
It is certainly operational on 3 but I have failed to reprogram it to a long address (3280).
This is my first time with the Light It and any help would be appreciated.
I have JMRI and DecoderPro via a Pi Sprog One.
