Cork Roadbed

Anyone else having problems getting cork roadbed?

It appears that there is some kind of conspiracy afoot to keep us model railroaders "jonesing" for cork roadbed. Even Midwest lists it on their website as being "Out of Stock Until Further Notice"!

I don't know who is behind this, but it has to be someone pretty high up in the food chain! Possibly the CFR or the Bildebergers, or maybe even the Bohemian Grove group. They may be working with the extra-terrestrials who are based in Area 51!

The Truth is out there!

George, you are right!

I checked a bunch of suppliers and they were all out of stock!  If you're looking for HO this supplier claims to have it in stock:

Wow, this is very strange. I

Wow, this is very strange. I just looked at Caboose Hobbies, they ALWAYS have cork roadbed in stock. And even they are out.

Someone forgot to start the cork machine.

It's a good thing I stocked up and have plenty to last me for a while.

Thanx

I got my order in with Trainz - although I would rather support my LHS.

I saw one out of stock notice which said it wasn't expected in until MAY!

Just what we need, another crisis

Let me guess.... unrest in the Middle East, burgeoning Chinese middle class, election year, summer driving season.

Well, this will send the price of bulletin boards through the roof!

Ya don't suppose California

Ya don't suppose California Roadbed Co. is behind this?

Could be!

CA could be behind it, but I'm not laying my track on a roadbed made out of Toe-Fu, tree bark, and soybeans!

The Indonesia Cork Beetle has struck again and has attempted to bring Religion to the cork tree forests buy making them and their bark Holy and not suitable for bulletin boards and HO & N scale road bed.
