Decals

This is my first post in a long time so please bear with me. I am building some of the "vintage" Rail Line HOn3 kits that were purchased at a swap meet. The owner of these kits wants the models to represent units that are rarely modeled such as the Union Pacific Denver & Gulf and the Colorado Central. The problem is that I am having some difficulty locating decal or dry transfer lettering sets for these units. There are two 30 ft reefer cars and two 30 ft box cars for each of these lines. Perhaps some of you know a reclusive vendor for such items? Thank you.

O.F. Robert,
Where have you tried to find the decals so far? Do you know if anyone (Microscale, Champ...) has made them in the past?

Art Griffin Decals
Check out Art Griffin decals. Thousands of 1880's to 1900's decals all taken from prototype photos. Most are standard gauge but I'm sure you can find something that works.

You might want to try the Silver Crash Car Works at http://www.silvercrashcarworks.com While these are decals designed for 34 foot cars, so are many of the other suggestions received. Be creative and enjoy the period.

Jeff: Thank you for your reply. I have tried all the "major" suppliers and as of now I have had no luck. I did manage to find the remnants of the CDS line (Canadian outfit) that has some of the items.

To both Dave and Tom (and all others with input). You have been most helpful. I hope that I will be able to return the favor someday. Thank you.
