What’s on your workbench?

I haven’t seen this thread for a while so thought I’d kick it off with my passenger car bash to make a 49’ Second Class Car:

grab iron holes

A simple Bowser caboose, getting real wire grab irons over the little cast in place thingies.

Waiting are some Tichy kits and Funaro kits, each of which requires eleventy-million holes for grab irons.

I can't hand-drill parallel holes to save my life, so I ordered this cheap ($37) 2-axis cross slide.  It's range is 2" x 8", enough for a 50 ft HO scale boxcar.  I'll let you know how it works.

Nice Tool

I looked it up and it does seem to be pretty neat! Be sure and let us know how it works out!
