Embedded PDF versions Font issue
Apparently a known and deliberate issue, although visually it looks "wrong" IMHO.

Dear MRH team,
What happened to the Fonts on "News" pages 42 and 43 in the PDF embedded versions?
Someone dropped the system back into DOS font mode?

Correction
Since we're still in the "bake-in" period, I thought I'd mention that the table of contents (P. 5) and title (P. 89) of the loading dock article refer to Burlingame, Iowa, but the prototype of the model John built is actually in Burlingame, Kansas, and his references throughout the article refer to it correctly as such.
MRH Response: Corrected.

downloadable version
i seem to be having trouble saving this new format to my computer can u tell me why
epub3
Sad to see that this format didn't work for you. I rather enjoyed it. It made for easier reading on my nook.
February Embedded Version
I'm also having problems saving the embedded version (tried both servers). It starts to download and just hangs.
Embedded download
Have you also tried both downloaders ... The Web one (green button) and the Flash one (red button)?
Just now tested the embedded download on my iPad in GoodReader and it works fine. Obviously, on an iPad, the flash downloader is not an option, since Apple devices don't support flash.

Embadded Download
I did download it fine just a few minutes ago, although it seemed to take longer than normal. The new format, took quite awhile to initially download, then the saving took another 4 minutes or so.
The new format is larger
The new format files are larger because we've moved to 300 DPI image quality. This enables you to zoom in on the photos and study them - which just isn't possible with print. But it does mean the files are at least 50% larger now.

Embedded Download
I can't download Feb version to my ipad it shows web page crashed and error msg "A problem repeatedly occurred on (then lists the complete dowload URL)." Tried both servers no go.
Also can't log in on the ipad but everything works on the MAC.
Sponsor logo degredadtion
I notice that many of the sponsors logos are really low res? I'd suggest checking the file format that they are saved in and what the PDF engine is doing to those file types - it appears to me that the compression filter for this type of image is too aggressive. There are also a couple of pictures, most noticeably that of Ken Patterson and gons in the BMLA advert that is also afflicted by similar degradation.
This may be more noticeable now due to increased resolution you are embedding the feature images with
