Nice Project
While I model in HO Scale, Lew’s article on the On30 Speeder is excellent. The finished speeder is a fine example of how a little imagination and thought can produce an excellent model that fits the era and need of the railroad. Thank you Lew for sharing your project and the very well written article explaining how this project came from a thought and ended up as a reality. I am inspired to try my hand at capturing the excitement and detail for my pike. Now where did I put that cable car?
The speeder doesn't fit my modeling needs.
Still it is a well written interesting article. Regarding Lew's question about where to put the speaker, MRH's new advertiser, Railmaster Hobbies has very small speakers with built in baffle boxes. I think one might be fitted vertically inside the radiator.
great article
Liked the speeder article, now I know what to do with the walthers speeder I have. Keep the ON30 stuff coming and please never refer to it as On2 1/2
thank you

great kit-bash
I love seeing kitbash projects like this. How imaginative, to take a more modern speeder and basically backdate it through selective swapping or omission of pieces and the addition of other pieces. WOW!
A speaker ment for N-scale application should be able to be fit inside this somewhere.
