links not available
I downloaded the embedded edition this afternoon, and as I was reading this evening I clicked the "click here to access" link on page 14. The Issue 5 Premium Extras
I found it somewhat less than helpful to be advised that link will not work till tomorrow.
Not exactly the premium extra I was expecting, sigh!
John.
I'm sorry
What can I say, John. We're sorry, but this stuff takes time and this venture is barely breaking even at this point - which means all of us have day jobs besides this venture.
What do you expect for nothing?

What's the big deal?
John,
I really fail to see why this should be a defining moment in your MRH experience. Could you maybe be over-reacting just a bit?
Would it have been more helpful if when you clicked the link you received a 404 error rather than being told the extras would be available tomorrow? If indeed the extras are available tomorrow, I am a happy guy because that's three days earlier than they were supposed to be available, if I remember correctly.
Please try to be patient and cut the MRH team a little slack. I think they are doing a pretty good job and what has it cost us so far? Nothing!
Look at it this way. If this were a print mag and you were a subscriber, you would already have prepaid for a minimum 12 issues. What if one of them was a week late arriving in your mailbox? What if one arrived damaged? What if the content was below your expectations? These are all things I experienced when I used to subscribe to print mags and I paid in advance for that level of service.
MRH is a dream come true for many of us. Join the party! Have fun. Dont' sweat the small stuff. The extras are on the way.

HEY!
IIRC, isn't this the SECOND TIME Chris has been refunded! Talk about good customer service!
As for me, I don't want a refund but I do expect to get my moneys worth out of MRH...I think I am already ahead of the game! [smile]
The MRH Money back GUARANTEE

Joe if you give him his money back does that mean he gets a blank page?

Sure, give him a refund.
It's nice to know we can get a refund if we're disatisfied with MRH. But isn't true that the only difference in most numbers is where you put the 1?

I'm honestly impressed with this venture, especially for a newbie to the hobby like myself. I wouldn't even mind donating a little to the cause, although keep in mind I can't really afford the prices asked by "traditional" model railroading mags...
Keep up the good work, guys...
